The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia will continue operations in the usual course, notwithstanding any shutdown of the federal government caused by the failure to enact an annual appropriation act or a continuing resolution. This applies to all aspects of court operations.  If any changes are to be made to court operations in the future, we will provide information as soon as it becomes available.
